Project Disciple is an opportunity to serve, love, and grow for nine months in an urban community. As a Greenhouse Project Team Member, you will be rooted in the the neighborhood, become part of the local community, and serve alongside your neighbors. The goal is to become knowledgeable regarding the life challenges in urban communities and how to promote justice.
We are looking for passionate, committed people with a heart for Jesus and justice. We are looking for people willing to listen, learn, and become part of the life of the neighborhood. We are looking for authentic people with a diverse range of passions and skills that are ready to put the needs of others ahead of themselves.

Come alongside what God is doing in the city by partnering with local churches, organizations, leaders, activists, and neighbors who are transforming their communities.
Live as neighbors and share life together in community with a team of diverse Christians.
Devote 32 hours a week in holistic professional service to those who experience the realities of relational and systemic injustice.
Become active in a local church and deepen your relationship with God.
Embrace a lifestyle of intentionality and enter more fully into solidarity with your neighbors.

Completions of application and background check
Trainings: We provide training on topics like spiritual formation, anti-racism, justice issues, homeless care, diversity/inclusion, and a host of other topics.
Professional Development: We help you build your professional skills and work experience for your resume while serving serving the community.
One-on-one mentoring: According to your passions, we partner with amazing leaders for your personal and professional growth.
Retreats: We highly value education; as such, we host a variety of day retreats and conferences.
What does this cost? This program costs around $900 a month, which covers room, board, training, transportation, and a monthly allowance. Project Disciple students are encouraged to raise their support. We would love to help guide you through this process.
What are the program dates and deadlines? Project Disciple runs from September to May. The Application deadline is June 1st.
Where do i serve? We are located in Chester, Pennsylvania. We serve our local community but also partner with other ministries throughout the tri-state area.
Is Greenhouse Project affiliated with a denomination? The Greenhouse Project is a 501(c)(3) non-denominational church ministry. To fulfill our mission, we partner with all Christians from different theological backgrounds to love God and love people.
