ADDICTION RECOVERY CAN RESTORE HOPE FOR fathers & AT-RISK FAMILies

This past year, Greenhouse Project non-profit lived side-by-side with neighbors to provide over 253 hours of free recovery counseling to 59 men and women, which brings healing and hope to their family story. Practical resources like food outreach, youth mentoring, and faith-based support combine to position these neighbors for real, lasting change.

Aaron’s story is an example of how our impact changes the trajectory not only for individuals, but individuals and their families.

Most profoundly, the fathers.

Supporting recovery through Greenhouse Project makes this possible:

— Individuals begin to break cycles of trauma, abuse, homelessness, poverty and crime

— Families are healed as loved ones get critical, long-term relational support

— Community health grows as sober neighbors positively influence those around them

GIVE LIFE-CHANGING RECOVERY TO MORE FATHERS LIKE AARON

Give to Grow is raising $150,000 by Dec 31 for counseling, recovery meetings, discipleship, food outreach, and the long-term relational family care that will bring heart change and healing to neighbors like Aaron in 2024.

Aaron is asking a supporter like you to help ensure more families like his
receive the life-changing gift of addiction recovery and ministry support.

Greenhouse Project is witnessing many life transformation stories like our friend Aaron, a young father whose wife has found hope thanks to addiction recovery help from our ministry.

Aaron’s family has received free addiction recovery counseling, food, baby supplies, and relational support that they consider—like many of our neighbors—to be a lifeline.

He could leave his family, like we see in so many homes.

But Aaron is choosing to stay, working hard to turn his own life around in order to provide despite daily hardships like job loss and instability.

Every interaction with Aaron points him to Jesus, the ultimate source of hope for his family.

Aaron’s story is an example of how our impact changes the trajectory not only for individuals, but individuals and their families. And most profoundly, the fathers.

Your partnership can ensure more families like this have access to 253 hours of free recovery counseling, our annual total this time last year.

Your actionable faith in our ministry means the gift of recovery can reach another 59 at-risk men and women, which brings healing and hope to their family story.

 FAQ

  • Yes, we’re a registered 501C(3) charity. All donations receive a tax receipt. You can donate securely through our online donation page. If you have any questions about your donation or would like to make a special investment, please email jclifford@ghproject.org.

  • In 2021, 78% of our funding went to program expenses, which covers addiction recovery counseling, outreach events, after school education, church, teaching supplies, and staff. In 2023, this will be increased to 91%. We rely completely on funds that come from individual supporters, church partnerships, and local businesses who champion our mission.

  • Since our 2019 launch, addressing drug abuse in our community has been a necessary cornerstone of our ministry as the need for long-term recovery support is so great. We have been there—we've recovered from addiction ourselves—and understand how a strong, Jesus-centered support system is directly linked to profound life transformation and lasting sobriety.

  • Lasting transformation only happens in a community where lives are shared. Many development programs meet urgent needs and aid those in crisis. Although practical support helps, this alone does not create long-term healing and change. Our model goes far beyond handouts or short-term programming. Greenhouse Project is distinguished by living life side by side with the most vulnerable to build long-term, Christlike relationships that promote positive, lasting change.

  • We always welcome volunteers with a heart for people in broken areas like Chester. Everyone knows this is a tough place to live—you can be a light for our neighbors! Come meet the people you are impacting for a few hours by helping during food outreach, prayer walks, homework club, trash clean-up, or Sunday church. Give one day or become a regular volunteer… you decide! Tell your friends, too. Please share Greenhouse Project to keep our impactful momentum growing!

GREENHOUSE PROJECT IS A REGISTERED 501(C)3 NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION. A CHARITABLE TAX RECEIPT WILL BE ISSUED FOR YOUR DONATION.
