Help Wrap Christmas in Love for Men in Recovery
As Christmas approaches, there's one tender group we're leaning in to bless: the men in recovery who call Greenhouse “home.”
While many families are making plans to gather close, our sober living residents will spend Christmas here—with our family, another family, or with one another—because their own home isn’t an option right now with strained or severed relationships yet to be rebuilt.
Most men arrive at Greenhouse with almost nothing. So when Christmas morning comes, that emptiness can feel especially sharp—no gifts, no small reminders that someone beyond our team sees the progress they're fighting for.
And yet… these men are showing up every day. Choosing sobriety. Choosing accountability. Choosing Christ. Choosing change.
Our annual Christmas Gift Drive also includes Homework Club kids and caretaker families — single moms and grandparents mostly, who never ask for anything! — and thanks to incredible partner groups sharing the invitation to give specifically to them, we are freed up to focus our Christmas giving efforts on our sober living residents.
Here’s where your gentle generosity enters the story.
We’d love to bless each male resident with:
A faith-building gift that encourages his walk with Jesus
Practical essentials like socks, toiletries, and warm items
A personal, thoughtful item that reminds them they matter
Nothing extravagant—just meaningful. A sign of love in a season that can otherwise feel lonely.
CHRISTMAS GIFT DRIVE
If you feel led—after already giving so much—would you prayerfully consider helping us bless the men who will spend Christmas in unfamiliar ways this year?
Every gift, big or small, helps us create a Christmas of joy and dignity for men rebuilding their lives from the ground up.
The deadline is 12/19 allowing us time to wrap and deliver gifts by Christmas.
Your compassion this season has already created ripple effects we won’t fully see this side of eternity. Thank you for considering coming alongside us again for this heartfelt Christmas effort for neighbors in need!
